Nick Seay
Principal

HeadshotIn 1977, Nick Seay founded the highly successful Washington, D.C. visual communications firm Seay Design Office. In 1987, Nick, along with Jack Beveridge, joined forces to form Beveridge Seay, Inc.

Nick is considered a specialist in corporate brand and identity systems. He has developed extensive identity projects for Exxon Mobil Corporation, USAirways, National Rehabilitation Hospital, MarketResearch.com and numerous corporations, associations and non-profit organizations. He has also lectured on identity systems at many institutions, corporations and universities.

Nick has received over two hundred national and international awards for communication excellence and has served as a juror for major international exhibitions. His work is included in the Library of Congress Permanent Collection. Nick is a member of the Design Management Institute and the American Institute of Graphic Arts, serving four years as the president of the AIGA Washington Chapter.

Nick received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, and a Masters of Architecture. He was awarded a Graphic Design Fellowship and an Architecture Fellowship from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and received a Teaching Fellowship from the University of Virginia. Mr. Seay has taught architecture and graphic design at the graduate school of the University of Virginia and undergraduate schools of Virginia Commonwealth University, Corcoran School of Art, and Northern Virginia Community College.

David Feinstein
Principal

HeadshotDavid Feinstein joined Beveridge Seay in 1990, and in 1993, he was welcomed into the firm as a partner. Dave has directed extensive branding efforts and identity programs for Exxon Mobil Corporation, Rolls-Royce North America, the International Life Sciences Institute, and Pre-K Now, as well as numerous associations and non-profit organizations.

Dave received a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College and was awarded the Jonathan Leigh Altman Scholarship for outstanding undergraduate artist. He has been the recipient of numerous awards from many national and international competitions for design excellence. He has lectured to a variety of academic and professional organizations, and is active in the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Design Management Institute.

Hubie Le

HeadshotHubie Le is an experienced communicator who joined Beveridge Seay in 1997. Hubie specializes in systems design by developing and implementing brand programs for groups such as the National Rehabilitation Hospital and ExxonMobil. She believes in the grid system (and breaking outside of it), Elvis Presley, and good ol’ fashioned baseball.

Hubie completed a graduate studies program at The Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Virginia. She has received a number of awards in typography, product, and publication design.

Meghan Still

HeadshotMeghan Still, a graphic designer who concentrates on publication design and identity systems joined Beveridge Seay in 2005. Prior to joining Beveridge Seay she worked as a catalog designer for the Ben Silver Corporation in Charleston, South Carolina and was an exhibition and design intern at the Smithonian Institute’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Meghan graduated magna cum laude from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in graphic design.

Since joining the firm she has contributed her technical knowledge and design sensibilities toward branding and publication design for several companies and non-profit organizations including Exxon Mobil Corporation, the Nancy G. Brinker Collection, and MarketResearch.com.

Meghan is intrigued, inspired and enthused by the Chesapeake Bay, her dad’s record collection, rice pudding, and anything by or about Marcel Duchamp.

Dave Edelman

HeadshotDave Edelman is a web designer, programmer and journalist who joined Beveridge Seay in 2007. Mr. Edelman has programmed websites for the U.S. Army and the FBI, taught software to the U.S. Congress and the World Bank, written articles for the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun, and directed the marketing departments of biometric and e-commerce companies.

Mr. Edelman received a B.A. in creative writing and journalism from The Johns Hopkins University in 1993, and is also a published novelist and specialist in online promotion. His first novel, Infoquake (Prometheus Books/Pyr, 2006), was named Barnes & Noble's Top Science Fiction Novel of 2006 and also earned him nominations for the John W. Campbell Award for Best Novel and the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. His latest novel, MultiReal, was released in Summer 2008.

Alex Schultz

HeadshotAlex Schultz joined Beveridge Seay in 2008. He graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. He has received design awards for his collegiate work, as well as being invited to design materials for AIGA Baltimore.

Alex is motivated with frozen treats and inspired by the work of El Lissitzky, swiss design and the Civil War.
